Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about services, sessions, and what to expect at Uplift Physical Therapy and Wellness.

What types of conditions do you work with?

Uplift works with patients dealing with TMJ dysfunction and headaches, vestibular and balance conditions, and a wide range of orthopedic issues including neck pain, back pain, shoulder injuries, hip and knee problems, and post-surgical recovery. If you are unsure whether your condition is a good fit, the free phone consult is a great first step.

Do you accept insurance?

Uplift is out of network with all commercial insurance plans and operates as a fee-for-service practice — payment is collected at the time of service. Superbills are available so you can submit for potential reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits. Uplift is in network with Traditional Medicare and Medicare Supplemental Plans.

How long are sessions?

Your initial evaluation is 90 minutes — enough time to do a thorough assessment and develop a personalized plan. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes. Every appointment is one-on-one with your physical therapist, from start to finish.

What if I have already tried physical therapy before?

Many patients at Uplift have been through PT elsewhere and did not get the results they hoped for. The difference here is in the model: one-on-one care, more time per session, and a focus on finding the root cause of your problem rather than following a generic protocol. If something has not worked before, that is worth a conversation.

How do I get started?

Start with a free 15-minute phone consult. Our team will learn about your situation, answer your questions, and confirm whether Uplift is the right fit before you commit to anything. If it is a good match, you will schedule your 90-minute initial evaluation from there.
